i’m applying for a job that will require me to manage the development of creative for online advertising. i have some (but not a lot of) experience in this area and am looking for websites / books that can give me an overview of the development process, tips/tricks, etc. i appreciate any guidance the community can offer!

I graduated college with a BA in Film Production. On Monday, I have a job interview with an advertising company and I REALLY want to get this job. I’m afraid when they ask how can I be an asset to the job, I might not give a convincing response. The company pretty much advertises other companies like Disney, The WB, and DARE…

So how can I relate my experiences and education in film production to advertising?

How do I get into the Marketing and Advertising industry with an IT background?
I plan to start an MBA in September, specializing in Marketing. However I wonder if that would be enough to get me a good position in the industry. Are there any other qualifications required….? Any advice would be appreciated.

I am a new Account Executive for an up and coming television station. I am looking for somebody, preferrably somebody who is successful in advertising, (say a successful ad agent) or someone of the sort to e-mail back and forth with.
